Job summary

Alup Kompressoren is seeking a Service Planner to schedule the day-to-day workload of field service engineers, ensuring service requirements are completed efficiently. You will coordinate activities, liaise with customers, and support service contract growth while maintaining accurate records.

Based at our Thirsk office, the role requires strong planning, excellent communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office with SAP knowledge desirable. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in business administration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning and organising skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload.
• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English.
• SAP knowledge and experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate field service engineers' activities to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Liaise with customers by phone and email to arrange and communicate service visits and work scopes.
• Monitor customer orders and service activities to ensure timely completion.
• Work with Service, Sales, and Operations teams to respond to customer requirements and deliver operational excellence.
• Maintain accurate customer and service records by collecting and updating information from field engineers.
• Support promotion and growth of service contract offerings through proactive customer engagement.
• Manage scheduling changes and priority requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and customer experience.
