Job summary

Nalco Water, An Ecolab Company, is seeking a technical sales professional to drive growth in London and the South East. You will partner with sales teams to understand customer needs and develop improvement plans for water treatment programs.

Ideal candidates have a degree and hands-on experience in water treatment or related fields, plus a valid driving license and willingness to travel. The role offers a competitive salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package.

  • Technical sales or field sales support experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license required; MVRO clearance may apply.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and execute work plans to support operations within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand business needs and propose improvement plans.
  • Build relationships with plant or facility executives and stakeholders.
  • Analyze systems, interpret data, and provide written optimization recommendations.
  • Stabilize jeopardy business in large, strategic accounts.

What You Will Do
  • Generate and execute work plans and strategies to support our business operations within existing customer base, and in major, competitively-held accounts, to meet defined territory Scope of Work goals.
  • Work closely with our sales teams in large, strategic current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives
  • Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels
  • Demonstrate the ability to stabilize jeopardy business in large, strategic accounts.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or proven experience working in water treatment
  • Technical sales or field sales support experience
  • Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role
  • Location London and South East
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
  • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
  • Working knowledge of Data Centre water operations, permitting processes and maintenance requirements
