Mercury Hampton Ltd invites applications for a Field Service & Product Support Engineer covering the UK and Ireland. This field-based, permanent role offers a salary up to £60,000 and a company car, with home working alongside field presence.

You will install, fault diagnose and support advanced construction equipment and attachments, travelling to customer sites, dealers and service partners.

Formación

• Apprenticeship or recognised qualification in Engineering, Plant, Agricultural Machinery, Automotive or related discipline.
• Experience servicing mobile plant or construction equipment.
• Knowledge of CAN Bus systems and electro-hydraulic controls.
• Experience with excavator attachments, tiltrotators or quick couplers.
• Strong diagnostic skills across electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
• Experience dealing directly with customers and end users.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland.

As part of its continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service & Product Support Engineer to join the business, providing technical support, product expertise and engineering solutions across the UK and Ireland.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible role where you'll act as the technical expert for a range of advanced equipment and attachment systems. Working closely with customers, dealers, service partners and the internal engineering team, you'll be instrumental in supporting installations, diagnosing faults, delivering training and contributing to ongoing product improvement initiatives.

The position would suit an engineer with experience in construction plant, agricultural machinery, off-highway equipment, heavy vehicles or related industries who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

About You

You'll be a proactive and technically capable engineer who enjoys solving problems and building strong customer relationships.

Essential

• Apprenticeship or recognised qualification in Engineering, Plant, Agricultural Machinery, Automotive or a related discipline.
• Experience servicing, maintaining or supporting mobile plant, construction equipment or heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of CAN Bus systems and electro-hydraulic controls
