Mercury Hampton Ltd is seeking a Field Service & Product Support Engineer to service and support advanced equipment across the UK & Ireland. The role combines hands-on engineering with customer interaction, installing and commissioning specialist kit at customer sites, diagnosing faults and delivering training.

The ideal candidate has experience in construction plant or heavy machinery, a relevant apprenticeship, knowledge of CAN Bus and electro-hydraulic controls, and a willingness to travel

Qualificações

• Apprenticeship or recognised qualification in Engineering, Plant, Agricultural Machinery, Automotive or a related discipline.
• Experience servicing, maintaining or supporting mobile plant, construction equipment or heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of CAN Bus systems and electro-hydraulic controls
• Experience with excavator attachments, tiltrotators, quick couplers or related equipment.
• Strong diagnostic skills covering electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and hydraulic diagrams.
• Experience dealing directly with customers and end users.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK and Ireland.

As part of its continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service & Product Support Engineer to join the business, providing technical support, product expertise and engineering solutions across the UK and Ireland.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible role where you'll act as the technical expert for a range of advanced equipment and attachment systems. Working closely with customers, dealers, service partners and the internal engineering team, you'll be instrumental in supporting installations, diagnosing faults, delivering training and contributing to ongoing product improvement initiatives.

The position would suit an engineer with experience in construction plant, agricultural machinery, off-highway equipment, heavy vehicles or related industries who enjoys combining hands-on engineering with customer interaction.
