Nicholas Clarke Associates Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, repair and install machinery across the UK. You will work on highly automated production lines from home on evenings, with 95% UK travel and a Monday-to-Friday pattern.

Comprehensive machinery training is provided and a clear career path is offered. The role suits multi-skilled engineers with strong fault-finding abilities, plus a valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

  • Multi skilled field service or maintenance engineering experience.
  • Good fault finding skills (mechanical or electrical biased).
  • Level 3+ qualification in an engineering discipline.
  • Industrial manufacturing background or forces experience (Royal Navy / RAF).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel (95% of the time home in the evening).
  • Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out servicing, repairs and installations of machinery on customer sites across the UK.
  • Utilising electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills to perform planned maintenance.
  • Liaising with customers and using effective time management to meet deadlines.
  • Providing repair data and reporting unresolved faults to the service manager.
  • Home based with UK-wide travel.

Field Service Engineer

Industrial Machinery

Basic Salary: £40,000 (OTE c£50-60k).

  • Package: Overtime (1.5x/2x Sun) + Company Vehicle + Pension + Machinery Specific Training and Support.

Business Location: Shropshire (UK Wide Travel – 95% of the time you will be home of an evening).

Monday – Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Thur) / 8:00am – 2:00pm (Fri).

Owing to significant demand for their machinery, a market leading engineering business are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their machinery service team. This business is offering a fantastic technically challenging role, significant training and furthermore secure career path for the right Engineer.

You may already be working within a Field Service Engineering capacity and are looking for a fresh challenge or are a static Industrial Maintenance Engineer looking for your first ‘on the road’ role, both backgrounds are of interest to this business. Comprehensive ‘machinery specific’ training is provided for this position, allowing significant routes for skill development and advancement.

If you are excited by working on highly automated production lines within diverse environments and have a strong multi skilled engineering background, this could be the role for you!

Role Description
  • Carrying out servicing, repairs, and installations of machinery on customer sites across the UK.

  • Provision of repair data and reporting of unresolved faults with the service manager.
  • Home based and travelling on a UK wide basis.
