Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer to travel across the UK and Ireland to install, maintain and repair specialist equipment. The role is hands-on, customer facing and based from our Rushden head office with UK field travel.

You’ll perform PPMs, fault finding, and installations, while developing your technical skills through ongoing training and strong customer relationships. A company vehicle is provided and full training is offered.

Qualifications

• Practical, hands-on and technically minded.
• Good mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good IT skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Happy to travel extensively.
• Engineering qualifications or previous field service/maintenance experience are advantageous, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• PPM, servicing and reactive repairs.
• Mechanical & electrical fault finding.
• Equipment installation and commissioning.
• Customer demonstrations and training.
• Completing digital service reports.
• Building strong customer relationships.
• Travelling across the UK & Ireland, with occasional overnight stays.
