Job summary

Jungheinrich is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service materials handling equipment across Wakefield & Doncaster. You will perform PPMs and repairs, diagnose faults, and maintain thorough service documentation while delivering top‑tier customer support on customer sites.

Ideal candidates will have hands‑on engineering experience in automotive, HGV, forklift, agricultural or military sectors, with a clean UK driving licence and the ability to manage their schedule independently.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills.
• Experience in a field‑based or customer‑facing role.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on materials handling equipment.
• Diagnose faults using electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Complete accurate service reports, documentation, and parts management.
• Deliver excellent customer service on-site, acting as a company ambassador.
• Identify upsell opportunities and additional work where appropriate.
• Ensure full health & safety compliance at all times.
