Job summary

Jungheinrich UK is seeking a Site Support Engineer to join our customer service engineering team covering client sites in Peterborough. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on materials handling equipment and build strong customer relationships.

The role requires mechanical and electrical bias, a clean driving licence, and the ability to work unsupervised. You will work a 40-hour week, with some overtime and on-call potential.

Qualifications

• We are looking for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any maintenance/service background.
• Experience in customer-facing environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
• Repair of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
• Accurately complete service reports and time sheets.
• Manage and control parts stock.
• Build customer relationships through good communication in line with contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with the aftersales office for repair times and ETA.
• Identify sales leads for Jungheinrich equipment and After Sales products.
