Job summary

Jungheinrich Internal is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Derby to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on materials handling equipment. You will work closely with the Area Service Manager and Customer Service department to meet site performance goals.

The role requires a mechanically and electrically biased background, a clean driving license, and the ability to work unsupervised while maintaining strong customer relationships. Occasional out-of-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical biased engineers sought for service and maintenance roles.
• Experience in customer-facing environments is desirable.
• A clean driving license is preferred and ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment
• Repair of materials handling and ancillary equipment
• Accurately complete service reports and time sheets
• Manage and control parts stock
• Build customer relationships through effective communication, ensuring contractual obligations are met
• Liaise with the after sales office to provide accurate repair times and ETA
• Identify sales leads for Jungheinrich equipment and After Sales products
• Act as a Company Ambassador at all times
• Potential call-outs and out-of-hours work may be required
