Zusammenfassung

Kardex is seeking a Service Technician to deliver technical support for AutoStore products across the UK, acting as a brand ambassador for Kardex Core Values at customer sites from Birmingham to the Midlands region. You will perform maintenance, provide training, and generate leads while maintaining records and complying with safety regulations.

The role requires hands-on mechanical/electronic expertise, field service experience and strong diagnostic skills, with a UK driving license and fluent

Qualifikationen

• Background in mechanical/electrical/electronic fields.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent hardware/software knowledge.
• Experience in field customer service.
• Familiar with diagnostic methods and fault finding.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience interfacing mechatronic machines with software (ERP/WMS).
• Experience in industrial communication (Fieldbus, Ethernet).
• Understanding of onsite health and safety.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on AutoStore systems, including remote diagnostics and troubleshooting of PLC and basic software issues.
• Deliver high-quality service within agreed timescales, including customer training, on-call support and technical advice.
• Act as a trusted advisor by promoting and supporting AutoStore products and services, while identifying business opportunities and generating leads.
• Maintain accurate administrative records, including service reports, customer feedback and spare parts inventory management.
• Represent the company professionally at all times, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and contributing positively to team success and continuous improvement.
