Job summary

Kardex is seeking a full‑time Installation Technician to cover the Midlands and the wider UK. You will join an installation team to install electro‑mechanical equipment and act as a brand ambassador, upholding Kardex values on customer sites across the region.

Applicants should have a electrical/mechanical background, be IT literate, and willing to travel including overnight stays. Full product training will be provided and a company car is included.

Qualifications

• Proven electrical background.
• Sound mechanical knowledge.
• Motivated to work in a field role.
• Full driving license.
• Technical/electronic experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service per policy.
• Communicate with customers and service desk regularly.
• Report visit-by-visit via documentation/call tracker promptly.
• Work with minimal supervision while staying connected.
• Aid and assist fellow workers as required.
• Maintain and inspect PPE at required intervals.
• Work within quality and health and safety standards.
