Job summary

CO Home Improvements are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our Kendal team. You will repair, adjust and remediate a range of home improvement products, ensuring high workmanship and excellent service at customers' premises in Cumbria and the Lake District.

The role requires hands-on experience with warm roofs, conservatories, windows and doors, as well as joinery skills and proficient handling of hardware fittings. A full UK driving licence is essential to visit customer sites.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with warm roofs, conservatories, windows and doors.
• Experience in repairs, adjustments and remedial work on home installations.
• Joinery experience including skirting boards and laminate flooring.
• Ability to fit, repair and replace hardware including handles and hinges.
• Excellent product knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• High workmanship standards and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Full UK driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve manufacturing or fitting issues with windows, doors, bi-fold doors, warm roofs and conservatory roofs.
• Carry out minor joinery work including skirting boards and laminate flooring.
• Repair, replace and adjust hardware and fittings.
• Provide excellent customer service at customers' properties.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Work with Customer Services to resolve installation and product issues.
• Take pride in workmanship and ensure customer satisfaction.
