Job summary

Guidant Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair materials handling equipment across Derby and Nottingham. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and deliver on-site service while representing the company professionally.

• Solid mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working in a field-based or customer-facing role.
• A full UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on materials handling equipment

About You

We're looking for candidates with a strong engineering mindset and practical experience, ideally from one of the following backgrounds:

• Automotive / Vehicle Technician
• HGV / Plant / Forklift Engineering
• Agricultural or Military Engineering

You’ll also have:

• Solid mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience working in a field-based or customer-facing role
• The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• A full UK driving licence
