Planet Pharma is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain and repair complex laboratory diagnostic systems at customer sites across Oxfordshire and surrounding regions. This permanent role involves hands-on service across multiple locations.

You will work with integrated IT and networked equipment, demonstrate strong fault-finding across electromechanical systems, and hold a full UK driving licence to travel between sites.

Competenze

• Electrical or Electronic Engineering qualification required.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience across electromechanical, electronic or automated systems.
• Experience with integrated IT and network-connected equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Install, commission and validate laboratory instrumentation to agreed specifications and timescales.
• Carry out preventative maintenance activities in line with service schedules and quality standards.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related faults.
• Perform corrective maintenance and repair activities while maintaining full compliance with company and manufacturer procedures.
• Support equipment relocations, upgrades and instrument qualification activities (IQ/OQ).
• Produce accurate and timely service documentation using electronic reporting systems.
• Maintain service stock, spare parts and company assets effectively.

My client, a global organization currently have an urgent requirement for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join on a permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of complex laboratory diagnostic systems at customer sites across Oxfordshire, Swindon, Cheltenham, Gloucester and the wider M4 corridor.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission and validate laboratory instrumentation to agreed specifications and timescales.
• Carry out preventative maintenance activities in line with service schedules and quality standards.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related faults.

About You
