Gold Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers across pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing, installing, maintaining and repairing precision laboratory instruments. You will diagnose faults and provide on-site technical support, building strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have experience servicing laboratory instrumentation and are comfortable travelling within the Oxford-Swindon-Reading triangle, with occasional Nordic travel.

• Strong fault-finding skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Confident working independently and supporting customers on-site.
• Ideally based within the Oxford-Swindon-Reading triangle, with access to Heathrow for Nordic travel.

I'm recruiting for an established international laboratory technology business seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers across pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing. You'll install, maintain and repair precision laboratory instruments, diagnose faults and provide on-site technical support.

Who would suit this role?

• Experience servicing or maintaining laboratory instrumentation.
• Strong fault-finding skills and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Confident working independently and supporting customers on-site.
• Ideally based within the Oxford-Swindon-Reading triangle, with reasonable access to Heathrow Airport for occasional Nordic travel.

Travel:

The business aims to keep UK journeys within 1-1.5 hours of your home base. Breakdown support, holiday cover and specific assignments may occasionally require longer journeys.

The package includes:

• Competitive base salary.

• Daily field allowance: £10 for lunch, plus £15 for an evening meal, or reimbursement of actual dinner costs against a receipt.
