Demob Job Ltd client is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a leading provider of specialist laboratory instrumentation, covering the Home Counties north of London with regular travel and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Electrical, electronic engineering or scientific background with a qualification to a minimum of an HNC or higher qualification.
• Experience working in a field service or maintenance environment.
• Experience in laboratory instrumentation or similar is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, calibration and repair of equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
• Provide technical support both on site and remotely.
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain tools, test equipment and vehicle stock levels.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their established team, covering the Home Counties north of London. Please note this role involves regular travel and occasional overnight stays.

Field Service Engineer Responsibilities:

• Maintain tools, test equipment and vehicle stock levels.

Field Service Engineer Requirements:

• Electrical, electronic engineering or scientific background with a recognised qualification to a minimum of an HNC or higher qualification.
• Experience working in a field service or maintenance environment.
• Previous experience within laboratory instrumentation or similar is highly desirable.
• Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
• IT literate.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Flexible approach with a willingness to travel and stay away from home occasionally.
