Job summary

NCR Atleos is hiring a Field Service Engineer for the Central Yorkshire region. You will diagnose and repair ATM modules on-site, install and maintain equipment, and ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to SLAs.

This role requires a full UK driving license, strong local knowledge, and experience in repair/IT fields. A company vehicle with a fuel card is provided for personal use, with a 42.5-hour week and weekend rota. Full training is given.

• Criminal record and credit background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and repair or replace ATM modules on-site.
• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory/region.
• Take ownership of customer issues, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to SLAs.
• Adhere to Health & Safety Policy in all tasks.
• Role may involve travel, lifting and carrying toolkits/parts, bending and prolonged standing or sitting.
• Full training and equipment provided; company vehicle may be used for personal use with fuel card.

• Job Title: Field Service Engineer
• Location: Central Yorkshire – Field Work
• Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 depending on experience
• Hours: 42.5 per week across 5days with weekend work on rota basis

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform repair or replacement of ATM modules on-site
• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory/region
• Take ownership of customer issues or incidents, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with Service Level Agreements
• Carry out work with adherence to the Health & Safety Policy
• Role may involve prolonged travel, lifting and carrying toolkits/parts of varying weights, and bending, squatting, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods
• Full training and equipment provided. Company vehicle available for personal use (fuel card included; BIK and mileage usage fee per mile apply)

Key Qualifications

• Valid Full UK manual driving license
• Strong local geographical knowledge
• Experience in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair
• Basic computer hardware and software knowledge
• Experience with Windows operating systems
• Experience in general PC hardware and software maintenance
• High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude
• PIA licences desirable, but if you don’t hold one, it will be provided
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer facing relationship skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, quick learner, and capable of performing well under pressure

Preferred Qualifications (not Essential)

• NCR/Wincor ATMs experience Previous Field Based experience Previous Engineering experience

• £31,000 - £33,000 depending on experience
• Personal use of the company vehicle (fuel card provided; BIK and usage fee per mile applies)
• 42.5-hour contract with weekend work on rota basis; 5 days over 7 (8.5 hours + 30 minutes brake)
