NCR Atleos’ Field Service Engineer role sits in Central Yorkshire, performing on-site diagnosis, repair and replacement of ATM modules across an assigned territory. You’ll install, maintain and fix equipment, taking ownership of customer issues and ensuring SLA alignment.

Role involves travel, lifting, and prolonged periods of activity; full training is provided and a company vehicle with a fuel card is available for personal use.

Qualifications

• Valid Full UK manual driving licence.
• Strong local geographical knowledge.
• Experience in break/fix, IT, computer repair.
• Basic hardware and software knowledge.
• Experience with Windows operating systems.
• Experience in PC hardware/software maintenance.
• High mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• PIA licences desirable; if not, provided.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Job Title: Field Service Engineer
• Location: Central Yorkshire – Field Work
• Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 depending on experience
• Hours: 42.5 per week across 5days with weekend work on rota basis

Main Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform repair or replacement of ATM modules on-site
• Install, maintain, and repair equipment within an assigned territory/region
• Take ownership of customer issues or incidents, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with Service Level Agreements
• Carry out work with adherence to the Health & Safety Policy
• Role may involve prolonged travel, lifting and carrying toolkits/parts of varying weights, and bending, squatting, walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods
• Full training and equipment provided. Company vehicle available for personal use (fuel card included; BIK and mileage usage fee per mile apply)

Key Qualifications

• Valid Full UK manual driving license
• Strong local geographical knowledge
• Experience in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair
• Basic computer hardware and software knowledge
• Experience with Windows operating systems
• Experience in general PC hardware and software maintenance
• High level of mechanical/electrical aptitude
• PIA licences desirable, but if you don’t hold one, it will be provided
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer facing relationship skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, quick learner, and capable of performing well under pressure

Preferred Qualifications (not Essential)

• NCR/Wincor ATMs experience Previous Field Based experience Previous Engineering experience

• £31,000 - £33,000 depending on experience

• 42.5-hour contract with weekend work on rota basis; 5 days over 7 (8.5 hours + 30 minutes brake)
