Job summary

CitySprint is a UK-wide logistics business delivering same-day and time-critical services. We are seeking a Business Development Executive for a field-based role focused on growing our SME customer base and onboarding new business opportunities.

You’ll identify, win and manage new accounts, building a strong sales pipeline and working with operations to ensure a smooth customer journey. A proactive, sales-driven mindset and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a sales, business development or commercial role.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, target-driven mindset with ability to work independently.
• CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new SME customers through proactive prospecting.
• Build and manage a robust new-business pipeline.
• Generate leads via outbound activity, networking and market research.
• Present tailored solutions, negotiate terms and close deals.
• Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
• Ensure smooth handover of new customers to operations and account management.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and track KPIs.
• Collaborate with operations and marketing to deliver best outcomes.
