Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging is seeking a Field Sales Executive to drive growth across Cambridgeshire, Northants, Beds, Essex, Norfolk and Leicestershire. You will lead direct sales and new business acquisition, meeting with engineers and buyers to present bespoke packaging solutions and build a robust sales pipeline.

The role offers a competitive basic salary up to £50,000 (dependent on experience) plus a rewarding bonus/OTE, and a company car or allowance.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in a territory/field-based sales role and proven ability to identify, acquire and win orders.
• Background in selling technical solutions to engineers as well as buyers.
• Strong presentation, customer-facing and influencing skills.
• Full valid UK driving license and comfortable commuting to Chatteris Cambridgeshire region.

Responsibilities

• Create growth: Generate territory growth in line with commercial targets.
• Enquiry conversion: Support internal teams in converting opportunities and building relationships.
• Consultative/Technical Sales: Use a consultative approach to analyse and solve customer problems with tailored solutions.
• Customer Relationships: Build trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
