Job summary

Macfarlane Packaging's Field Sales Executive will drive growth across Cambridgeshire, Northants, Beds, Essex, Norfolk & Leicestershire, based from Suttons Performance Packaging in Chatteris. You will lead direct sales, identify new customer opportunities, and expand existing accounts within aerospace, defence, electronics, and medical sectors.

You will manage a robust pipeline, spend significant time in the field meeting customers, and collaborate with internal teams to generate leads and close

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar territory/field-based sales role.
• Experience in targeting, acquiring and winning orders from new customers.
• Background selling technical solutions to engineers and buyers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create territory growth in line with commercial targets.
• Support internal teams in converting opportunities into orders and build ongoing relationships through external meetings.
• Use a consultative approach to analyse and solve customer problems with tailored solutions.
