Job summary

Copello Global Ltd is seeking a proactive field-based technical sales professional to join our growing engineering business. You will identify opportunities across the North of England and Scotland, build relationships with engineering, procurement and commercial contacts, and manage opportunities from contact to quotation.

The role suits someone with sales or customer service experience in engineering or manufacturing, a full UK driving licence, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, customer service or a commercial role within engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive in identifying opportunities and developing new business.
• Willingness to travel across territory.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the North of England and Scotland.
• Build and maintain relationships with engineering, procurement and commercial contacts.
• Research target markets, identify prospective customers and develop a strong sales pipeline.
• Understand customer requirements and work with internal technical teams to identify suitable solutions.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through to quotation, negotiation and order.
• Develop existing accounts and identify opportunities for further business.
• Attend customer meetings, industry events and exhibitions.
• Maintain accurate sales records and work towards agreed commercial targets.
