Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to drive new business and manage key accounts within the UK, focusing on electro-pneumatic and pneumatic valves, sensors and controls for manufacturing automation.

You will work from home, covering patches across Lancashire, Derbyshire, West Yorkshire, Wales. You will book meetings with Engineering Managers and MDs to propose engineering solutions that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and cut maintenance costs. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Technical field sales experience and new business expertise selling to the manufacturing sector.
• Ideally qualified engineer or technical sales experience.
• An internal sales engineer looking for a field-based role would be considered.
• Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Working from home, covering Lancashire, Derbyshire, West Yorkshire, Wales.
• Booking own appointments with Engineering Managers, MDs, Procurement Managers.
• Account management and self-generated new business sales, following up enquiries.
• Selling to existing and new customers throughout territory.
• Identifying opportunities for new solutions with the engineering team and suppliers to develop these.
