Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a proactive Service Engineer based in the UK to install, commission, service and support specialist production machinery across the UK and internationally. The role combines on-site visits with remote support and close collaboration with internal engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical and/or electrical engineering background, holds a relevant qualification (HNC/BTEC or similar), and is comfortable

Qualifications

Mechanical and/or electrical engineering background required.
Qualified in Electrical, Electronic or Control Engineering (HNC / BTEC or similar).
Strong fault-finding on machinery and automation equipment.
Willingness to travel internationally; valid passport preferred.

Responsibilities

Installation and commissioning of new machinery at customer sites
Service, maintenance and breakdown response for installed equipment
Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and control systems
Software debugging and commissioning for production line integrations
Remote diagnostics and customer support
Liaising with internal teams regarding service, spares, and technical solutions
Logging service requests and maintaining documentation
Travel to customer sites as needed
