Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support automation and robotics across UK and Ireland. The role covers maintenance and fault-finding on PLCs, with experience in Beckhoff/Siemens PLCs and ABB/Fanuc/Kuka robotics highly valued.

Travel across sites is required, with standard days 08:30–17:30 and no call-outs. Applicants should have a maintenance background in high-precision manufacturing, be Time Served, and willing to travel to Midlands/NW and beyond.

Qualifications

• Maintenance background in high precision manufacturing.
• Time Served in a suitable discipline.
• Strong PLC knowledge (Beckhoff/Siemens advantageous).
• Experience with Robotics (ABB/Fanuc/Kuka advantageous).
• Willingness to travel UK/Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to client sites across the UK and Ireland.
• Support automation systems to improve productivity.
• Assist in new project introductions within time and budget.
• Fault finding and rectification of PLCs (Beckhoff/Siemens).
• Work with robotics (ABB/Fanuc/Kuka).
• Edit/diagnose PLC software/hardware.
• Support IT systems (Windows Server).
• Assist in installation of new capital equipment.
