Job summary

WR Engineering is recruiting a Field Sales Engineer to drive new business and manage engineering-led solutions across UK territories. You will sell premium engineering solutions for automation and controls to manufacturing managers, supporting sector growth in food & bev, automotive, aerospace, and pharma.

Based on the patch coverage (Lancashire, Derbyshire, West Yorkshire, Wales), the role combines field visits, solution selling, and account management with a focus on efficiency, waste

Qualifications

• Key Requirements: Field sales experience and new business expertise and engineering qualifications.
• Selling engineering solutions to engineering managers and procurement managers.
• Driving licence and patch coverage knowledge.
• Engineering graduate, HNC or apprentice trained - Electrical or Mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Sell engineering solutions to improve efficiency and reduce waste and maintenance.
• Book appointments with Engineering Managers, MDs, Procurement Managers.
• Account management and self-generated new business sales, following up enquiries.
• Selling to existing and new customers throughout territory.
• Identify opportunities for new solutions and work with the engineering team and suppliers.
