Job summary

WR Engineering, an innovation-led engineering solutions provider, seeks a Field Sales Engineer to drive new business in the UK for electro-pneumatic and pneumatic valves, sensors and controls across manufacturing environments.

You will manage a patch covering Lancashire, Derbyshire, West Yorkshire and Wales, working from home while visiting engineering managers and procurement leaders to deliver consultative, solution-based sales that improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications

• Field sales experience with engineering background.
• Experience with selling engineering solutions to management levels.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves or similar would help.

Responsibilities

• Covering Lancashire, Derbyshire, West Yorkshire, Wales with work-from-home setup.
• Book own appointments with Engineering Managers, MDs, Procurement Managers.
• Account management and self-generated new business sales within territory.
• Identify opportunities for new solutions with engineering team and suppliers.

Field Sales Engineer

An experienced sales engineer is required to join an innovation-led engineering solutions provider. Primarily in the areas of electro-pneumatic and pneumatic valves, sensors and controls for manufacturing & production machinery automation applications within most manufacturing environments. Sectors: food & bev, automotive, aerospace, process & industrial, FMCG, pharma.

Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves or similar engineering highly beneficial.

This is a great technical sales job, selling premium product incorporated into innovation solutions for control & automation, waste reduction, and selling to leading manufacturers.

This is a proactive sales position involving generating new business opportunities, project identification, upselling, consultative and solutions selling. It involved selling engineering solutions to engineering managers, rather than selling on price.

Field sales experience and new business expertise with engineering qualifications

The Role

Covering Lancashire, Derbyshire, West Yorkshire, Wales. Work from home.

Engineering qualified; engineering graduate, HNC or apprentice trained - Electrical or Mechanical

An internal sales engineer looking for a field-based role would be considered
