Job summary

Wolverhampton Homes is seeking a Property Inspector to join the Asset & Stock Investment Team. You will carry out inspections, collect stock condition data and help shape future investment decisions across the housing portfolio.

You will support a high-quality inspection service, identify defects, provide technical advice, and work with wider teams to deliver right solutions first time. This role is field-based in Wolverhampton with a 37-hour week and permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in property inspections, surveying, construction, repairs or maintenance.
• Ability to identify building defects and practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out property inspections and stock condition surveys.
• Prepare accurate repair specifications and raise repairs using SOR.
• Diagnose defects and advise on remedial actions.
• Record property data using mobile technology and provide technical support.
