Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a Field Performance Manager to lead the operation and performance of a dispersed portfolio of wastewater treatment sites across the Winchester area. You will lead operators and supervisors, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient asset performance while delivering excellent service to customers and protecting the environment.

You will manage a geographically diverse team, collaborate with engineering and process teams, and drive continuous improvement across locations.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing operational teams.
• Experience leading teams across multiple locations or remote environments.
• Strong focus on health, safety and operational compliance.
• Experience in safety-critical or highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of operators and supervisors.
• Oversee operational performance of multiple wastewater treatment sites in the Winchester area.
• Foster a high-performing culture with strong communication across sites.
• Monitor performance, address issues and risks proactively.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, compliance and service improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, process science and support teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Ensure activities comply with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Manage contractors and external stakeholders as needed.
• Support incident management and out-of-hours response.
