Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Field Operations Manager for the Waste Networks division, covering Mogden site and field work. You will lead a field-based team of engineers, ensure safe, effective operations within budget, and drive customer service improvements.

The role requires directing, coaching and performance management of operatives, strong communication skills, and a full UK driving licence. Competitive salary and a car allowance accompany 36-hour weeks across Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

Experience directing, developing and performance-managing field-based operatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Health, safety and wellbeing awareness.
Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

Provide strong operational leadership and hands-on support to deliver objectives.
Performance-manage field team to meet asset maintenance and service targets.
Monitor and drive performance against key metrics and respond promptly.
Direct and develop Network Engineers via goals, meetings, and PDPs.
Promote engagement and motivation within the team.
Conduct regular site visits to assess quality of work.
