Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an experienced Performance Manager to lead a team of controllers, technicians and operators at Crossness STW. You’ll drive performance, manage risk, and ensure safe 24/7 operations while monitoring budgets and compliance.

Join a dedicated Waste team, focusing on continuous improvement, strong H&S culture, and active stakeholder engagement including the EA. Salary up to £65,000 with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven managerial experience overseeing a team of controllers and operators.
• Ability to coach and train to maximise potential.
• Strong budgeting, H&S awareness and performance-measurement skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance management and development of 6 process shift controllers and 1 day controller.
• Identify, mitigate, resolve and escalate risk at Crossness Sewage Treatment Site.
• Deliver cost-efficient, robust and safe 24/7 asset operation and maintenance.
• Manage budget with focus on H&S, compliance, people and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement and best practice; engage stakeholders including EA.
