Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead a field-based team of Network Engineers across Mogden and Isleworth, ensuring safe, compliant day-to-day operations and budget adherence.

You will drive performance, develop staff capability, and provide hands-on support in the field. A UK driving licence is essential, with 36-hour work weeks, Monday to Friday, and a car allowance offered.

• Proven people management experience leading field-based operatives.
• Strong budget control and operational delivery expertise.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and organisational ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong operational leadership and hands-on support to ensure safe, effective delivery of objectives.
• Performance-manage field ops team; set goals, train and develop staff.
• Conduct regular site visits and ensure compliance with procedures and budgets.
• Cover for holidays/absences as required and manage field-based initiatives.
