Ipsum is seeking a Field Manager to lead engineers and technicians across the London & South East region, ensuring safe, efficient operation and high-quality service. You will audit sites, monitor safety and productivity, and ensure timely completion of works while liaising with office and client teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, compliance, and customer-focused delivery in a dynamic utilities/drainage environment, with opportunities for progression and professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in utilities or drainage sectors.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, environment and quality standards.
• Evidence of customer-focused service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of engineers and technicians across the area.
• Oversee vehicles, plant, equipment and site resources.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
• Liaise between office-based teams and field staff.
• Pre-plan and pre-site works with management.
• Monitor productivity and operational performance.
• Identify risks and resolve issues before they escalate.
• Provide daily updates and operational reports to management.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of field staff.
• Promote continuous improvement across operations.
