Leicestershire County Council is seeking a capable Supervisor to lead a small team of Operators delivering highways maintenance, construction and surfacing across Leicestershire. You will work flexibly to meet service needs and uphold high standards of workmanship and safety.

The role may involve out-of-hours work, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays; you may be asked to support a call-out rota. A Safety Critical post applies with random drug/alcohol testing.

Formación

• Qualifications in NVQ 2 in Highways Maintenance or similar, Trades Test Assessment, NRSWA Qualification (Operative), Accreditation and relevant H&S training records.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a small team of Operators delivering construction, maintenance and surfacing across highways, footpaths and structures.
• Ensure activities meet LCC specifications and handle on-site incidents; escalate as needed to Site Team Leader/Supervisor.
