Job summary

SGN in Glasgow is seeking a Team Manager (Operations) to oversee field operations, manage employees and contractors, and deliver a safe, efficient service to customers. You will lead operational activities within budget and drive continuous improvements on-site.

The role requires strong leadership, an extensive knowledge of gas industry regulations, and a full UK driving license. Expect mainly field-based, office-based mix in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the gas industry, legislation, and safety policies.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent organisational, diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication with teams and stakeholders at all levels.

• Managing operational activities within budget allocations.
• Managing both SGN employees and contractors across all operational activities (Emergency, Repair, Replacement, Connections & Competency).
• Providing a safe, efficient and effective service to all customers.
• Managing performance and delivering improvements by embracing innovation and challenging the norm.
