Job summary

Edina is seeking an Operations Engineer to maintain and repair gas and diesel engine installations across the UK. The role involves scheduled and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and first-time fixes where possible.

You will oversee engine servicing, plan parts, and coordinate with service teams and contractors to support after-sales contracts while working in a field-based role across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Qualified with ONC/NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Minimum three years’ industrial mechanical experience.
• Strong engine/generator fundamentals and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair gas and diesel engine installations at client sites across the UK.
• Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance; fault-finding locally and remotely.
• Diagnose issues and implement first-time fixes where possible.
• Oversee servicing and maintenance of engines and ancillary equipment.
• Plan resources and parts for repairs; coordinate with service teams.
• Liaise with contractors, third parties, and colleagues.
