Job summary

Infinis Energy plc is seeking an operations engineer to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of gas reciprocating engines and associated plant equipment across multiple site-based power generation plants.

You will identify early fault signs, perform diagnostics, and execute reactive and planned maintenance to minimise downtime, supporting continuous flexible power generation. A hands-on, safety-first mindset and experience in power generation are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Safety-conscious with proactive health and safety approach.
• Experience with low-voltage electrical systems.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence and field-based experience.
• Willingness to travel to sites across the North region.
