Job summary

Edina, a leading international power generation specialist, is seeking an Operations Engineer to join our Leatherhead team. You will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on gas/diesel engines and energy installations, diagnosing faults and optimizing operations to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:30, with weekend and on-call duties. Applicants should have ONC/NVQ2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in mechanical/electrical engineering, three

Qualifications

To hold a minimum of an ONC, NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, motor vehicle studies or equivalent.
Three years' industrial mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred.
In-depth knowledge of gas/diesel engines.

Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on installations across Leatherhead and surrounding area.
Diagnose faults and implement reactive maintenance on client installations.
Optimize operational processes to increase productivity and reduce time and materials usage.
