Job summary

A leading infrastructure engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mobile Plant & Vehicle Mechanic. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile plant equipment across various sites. The role offers independence in the field along with support from a strong office and workshop team. Required qualifications include a trade qualification in mobile plant or heavy vehicle mechanics, as well as proven experience in the relevant field. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with mobile plant equipment.
• Current driver’s licence (HR / MR licence desirable).
• Familiarity with hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on a range of plant equipment.
• Fault diagnosis using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Conduct safety inspections and complete service reports.
