Job summary

Equans is seeking a Mobile Service BMS Engineer to join our Digital business, covering parts of Liverpool and the surrounding areas on a full time basis. The role involves managing a portfolio of BMS systems across schools, hospitals, offices and government buildings.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to reactive calls, and work with colleagues to improve energy efficiency. The company offers a car, pension, and learning opportunities to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Electrical or BEMS qualification required (City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ).
• Experience with HVAC and mechanical systems in commercial settings is essential.
• Valid UK driving license and BPSS Vetting are required.
• Knowledge of at least one BMS platform (Trend, Tridium, Distech, Siemens or Niagara) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage planned and reactive tasks across a diverse portfolio of sites (schools, hospitals, offices, business parks, government buildings).
• Carry out preventative maintenance on BMS systems and components to ensure smooth operation across sites.
• Respond to breakdowns and reactive calls when issues arise.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve system performance and energy efficiency, with thorough reports and cost estimates for enhancements.
