Job summary

Algeco UK is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to undertake service calls at customer sites, diagnose faults, and perform FM testing. You will work under the Service Support Manager with scheduled activities and travel in a company van, supporting installation projects when needed.

The role emphasizes health and safety, quality standards, and effective communication with customers, with opportunities to develop additional certifications and skills on the job.

Qualifications

• General maintenance & Facilities Management testing skills/capabilities.
• Working at Height.
• Customer focus - good communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues or escalate where applicable.
• General maintenance capability.
• Use of a range of power tools in a safe and effective manner.
• Basic IT Skills.
• Ability to work on own or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new skills and share skills.
• Flexibility to support other parts of the business where required due to workload.
• Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).
• CSCS Card - NVQ Level 2 Blue Skilled Worker.
• Electrical Maintenance.
• PAT Testing.
• ECS, IPAF and or PASMA.
• A valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Health, Safety, and Environmental: Manage HSE compliance, incident reporting and safety observations.
• Ensure activities adhere to safety policies and Life Saving Rules.
• Report HSE issues promptly to mitigate risks to staff and customers.
