Job summary

ParetoFM in the West of England is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across client facilities. You will work on building services, diagnose faults, and support safe, compliant operation within a busy engineering team.

The role requires City & Guilds electrical/mechanical qualifications, 18th Edition, and a proactive, customer‑facing approach. You’ll manage tasks using simPRO and be comfortable with on‑call shifts and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Essentials: City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical and Mechanical, 18th Edition.
• Experience in building services maintenance in commercial settings.
• Good communication and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across mechanical and electrical building services.
• Diagnose and resolve faults involving plant, equipment and associated systems.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, electrical installations and mechanical plant.
• Respond to BMS alarms and support fault diagnosis.
• Undertake minor installations and routine maintenance tasks.
• Support safe operation of plant including start-up and shutdown checks.
