Job summary

Opus Perm is seeking a Field IT Technician to provide hands-on IT support at multiple locations across the region. The role involves travel to Suffolk, Essex, Norfolk and Nottingham as needed, delivering 1st and 2nd line support both on-site and remotely, and maintaining the ITSM workflow to drive outages to resolution.

You will work closely with the Service Desk, Infrastructure Team and third-party providers to maintain an secure, modern IT environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Relevant IT qualification desirable.
• Experience in desktop/field support and IT troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on 1st and 2nd line IT support at offices, sites and remotely.
• Own incidents and service requests to resolution with clear handover.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, peripherals and connectivity issues.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams or third-party providers.
• Act as local IT representative for assigned sites and build relationships with managers.
