Job summary

Wipro Technologies in Canary Wharf seeks a Field Support Engineer to install, configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure hardware and software on-site. You will support a broad range of IT hardware and software and ensure end-user readiness with on-site testing.

Responsibilities include maintaining multi-vendor systems, diagnosing hardware issues, and escalating when needed. You will manage IT assets and support traders and trading applications, working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring and maintaining IT assets onsite.
• Proficient in local area data networking fundamentals.
• Experience with incident and service request management (DEPOT model).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Desktop OS and Office configurations.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing tool.
• Experience supporting trading applications.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot IT hardware and software onsite.
• Install, maintain and repair company and multi-vendor systems.
• Diagnose hardware performance issues and replace workstations where needed.
• Contribute to new service solutions or small projects as directed.
• Conduct video conferencing tests as needed.
• Manage IT assets (tagging in/out) as rolled out to end users.
• Provide on-site testing to ensure access to equipment and apps.
