Job summary

Wipro Canary Wharf is seeking a Field Support Engineer to install, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure hardware and software onsite for a diverse client base in London. You will support a broad range of IT hardware, software and services, ensuring effective end-user experiences.

The role covers hardware asset management, incident handling, and participation in new service deployments. Strong onsite communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in field services support with onsite IT assets.
• Troubleshooting LAN/WAN networking and hardware.
• Familiarity with Incident and Service Request management processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software and networking products onsite.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware performance issues and manage asset replacement.
• Escalate issues and involve experts to resolve problems quickly.
• Contribute to implementing new IT services or small projects as directed.
• Perform on-site testing to ensure end-user access to equipment and apps.
• Manage IT assets tagging and lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
• Handle user support queries and maintain service quality during busy periods.
