Job summary

nGeneration is hiring a Field Service Technician to install, maintain and support IT and EPoS devices across Bristol and surrounding areas. You will work a 12-hour shift pattern (8:30am–9:30pm) on a rolling 3-on/3-off rota, delivering hands-on service and great customer care.

Based in the Bristol region, you will travel daily within your area, diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure systems are operating reliably for hospitality and retail clients. Training and a company van are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Technical aptitude with hardware experience.
• Organised, methodical and composed in approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and repair customer tech on site.
• Carry out break‑fix and replacement calls on‑site.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues.
• Diagnose Wi‑Fi faults and cable problems.
• Document all service activities accurately.
• Obtain customer sign‑off on completed work.
• Deliver excellent customer service during site visits.
• Escalate complex issues when needed.
• Travel daily within your region, with occasional UK-wide travel.
