Zusammenfassung

Breedon Group seeks an IT Field Support Technician to maintain and troubleshoot computer systems and networks across a regional patch. You will install, configure, diagnose hardware and software faults, and provide onsite or remote support to internal customers, ensuring maximum system reliability.

Based at Hope Cement Works in Derbyshire with travel to sites across the patch, you will document processes, monitor services, and help roll out applications while adhering to Health & Safety and

Qualifikationen

• In depth knowledge and experience of Desktops and Laptops.
• Experience of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Office 365 management and maintenance.
• Application support and software installs.
• Knowledge of servers, Networks LAN/WAN, including cloud hosted solutions.
• Knowledge of tablet/mobile phone support for iOS and Android.
• MDT (Microsoft Deployment Tools) for building laptops/desktops.
• Knowledge of firewalls, proxies, and antivirus software.
• Ability to prioritise workload and be flexible in problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Take ownership of incidents and monitor outcomes.
• Excellent teamwork.

Aufgaben

• Regularly engage with key customers/sites to identify improvements and resolve issues.
• Proactively build relationships and support BTS service and systems.
• Perform field support across PCs, mobiles, printers, applications and meeting room equipment.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for Workplace Services.
• Monitor systems and networks to identify potential issues.
• Provide application support and software installation.
• Guide users face-to-face or by phone to set up systems or resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems and replace faulty equipment.
• Assist fellow engineers with complex tasks such as cabling and site visits.
• Respond to call-outs within agreed SLAs and complete tasks.
