Job summary

ScotCen, part of NatCen, is recruiting Field Interviewers to visit people in their local areas and conduct in-home research interviews on issues that matter in Scotland.

You’ll be trained before working independently, with support for route planning. Travel across communities is common, including occasional longer journeys and overnight stays. A meaningful role with flexible hours for at least 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• You’ll visit people in their homes and conduct in-home interviews.
• Must be able to travel across your local area and possibly longer journeys.
• Strong verbal and written English are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home research interviews on health, housing, transport and everyday life.
• Record responses accurately using NatCen devices.
• Attend training and use route planning support to manage your patch.
