Job summary

ScotCen is recruiting a Field Interviewer in Scotland. You’ll visit people in their local area and carry out in-home research interviews on issues that matter, including health, housing, transport and everyday life.

You’ll work at least 20 hours per week over 3 days, with availability across weekdays, evenings and weekends. Full training provided; travel time and mileage are paid.

You’ll help give people a voice and inform decisions that affect services, funding and policy across Scotland.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check.
• Strong verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Visit people in your local area and carry out in-home research interviews.
• Record responses accurately and completely.
• Plan practical routes and manage interview schedules.
• Build rapport with participants and conduct interviews with empathy.
