Job summary

ScotCen, the Scottish Centre for Social Research, is looking for Field Interviewers to visit households, conduct in-home interviews on health, housing, transport and daily life, and accurately record responses. You’ll work in your local area with support and training from day one, including route planning and travel time where needed.

We offer paid travel time, mileage allowance, and a bonus scheme. You’ll need a valid UK driving licence, DBS check, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse communities.
• Comfort with fieldwork and travel across local area.

Responsibilities

• Visit people in your local area for in-home interviews.
• Capture stories accurately and respectfully.
• Record responses using NatCen devices and follow training.
